These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website, communication with us, and all services provided by Scenes Media (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging with our services, requesting a quote, or approving a project, you agree to these Terms.
1. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are provided based on the information available at the time of quoting.
Quotes are valid for 14 days, unless stated otherwise.
Prices may vary if project scope, specifications, materials, or installation conditions change.
GST and any additional fees (e.g., installation access equipment, travel if outside Auckland) will be stated in the quote where applicable.
2. Deposits & Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required to begin design, fabrication, or scheduling of work.
Remaining balance is due upon completion and before installation or delivery, unless a formal credit arrangement is approved.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, card payment, or approved company account.
Late payments may incur delays to production or installation.
3. Design & Approvals
We provide design proofs, mockups, and material recommendations prior to production.
Final artwork, measurements, and positioning must be approved in writing before fabrication.
Once approved, designs cannot be changed without additional cost and revised timelines.
4. Production & Materials
All signage and displays are produced using professional-grade materials selected for durability and finish.
Colours, lighting temperature, and finishes may vary slightly depending on viewing conditions and material characteristics. These are considered acceptable within industry standards.
5. Installation
Installation dates are scheduled based on project readiness and site access.
The client is responsible for ensuring:
Clear access to the installation area
Necessary permissions (e.g., landlord, council, body corporate)
Safe installation conditions
Additional charges may apply if access equipment (e.g., scaffolding, boom lift) is required.
6. Warranty
We provide warranty on workmanship and LED systems based on the material/manufacturer standards.
Warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by weather extremes, misuse, vandalism, impact, or unauthorized repairs
Normal wear, fading, or aging of outdoor signage over time
7. Digital & Animation / VFX Services
For animation, motion graphics, CGI, or video services:
Project timelines depend on feedback and approvals.
Revisions are limited to those stated in the quote; extra revisions may incur additional costs.
Final video files are delivered in agreed resolution and format.
8. Cancellation
If a project is cancelled after design approval, the deposit is non-refundable.
If fabrication has begun, the client is responsible for all costs of materials and labour completed up to the cancellation date.
9. Intellectual Property
Concepts, designs, drafts, and animation files remain our intellectual property until full payment is received.
After full payment, the final approved artwork or render is licensed to the client for their brand use.
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
Loss of business, revenue, or indirect damages
Delays caused by external factors (weather, supply chain, site access, etc.)
Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
